Vishweshwara Temple of Florida Inc is to be built in Zephyrhills, Florida with the objective of offering
- A tranquil abode for Hindu worship.
- A center for learning the principles of Hindu Sanathana Dharma.
- A source of priest services to the Hindu communities in the rapidly growing greater Tampa area. In the longer run, a plan will be developed to link up the Temple with local charitable organizations.

Temple Fund
The funds for the land purchase came entirely from Vishwanatha (aka Sharmaji) and Jayanthi Kakarla. Sharmaji is the Founder of the Temple. He a well-known priest in CT and has also served devotees in neighboring NY, NJ, MA, and RI states. Currently, he is establishing himself in the greater Tampa area.

Temple Registration
The Temple is registered in the state of Florida and as is required by the state, a 5-member Board of Directors Seva Samithi) is in place.
The Temple has submitted a Conditional Use Application with the Polk County Council to seek a grant for construction of the Temple. A concept plan designed by an architect advisor is included in the County application.Application to qualify the Temple for EIN 88. 0750328 tax exempt since April2023 filed and its approval is expected imminently.
